Conference Update

Greetings from Raleigh, site of the 2008 CapitolBeat Conference. We’ll be posting more information on the blog and at this link as we get it.The dates are Nov. 13 through 16.

Your conference committee is hard at work compiling panels and landing keynote speakers.

In case you missed it, our first update is this: We will be based this year at the new downtown Marriott. How new? It’s still under construction. Information on booking rooms at the conference rate will be posted here as soon as we get it.

Our second update: The opening night reception is now scheduled to be held in North Carolina’s historic state capitol building.
