New book from a Capitolbeat member

February 19, 2008

Robert Ingle, a Capitolbeat member, has a new book out. “The Soprano State” details the fun and games in New Jersey government. From the author’s summary:

No matter what state you live in, this yarn about the mob and too-stupid-to-believe politicians and dumb ass bureaucrats is a laugh a minute. The Soprano State details the you-couldn’t-make-this-up true story of the corruption that has pervaded New Jersey politics, government and the business for the past thirty years.

In an e-mail, Ingle writes, “This book is about the heroes in the statehouse press corp that exposed the bastards. It was written for a national audience but this mobbed up government can happen anywhere they let their guard down.”
